Our History
Founded in September 2002 by the late Apostle James R. Jones. The Community Church Outreach Center was established as an evangelistic arm of the Community Church of Christ. Evangelist C. Avernell McCullough was appointed by Apostle Jones as the pastor with her son Bishop Michael McCullough as her assistant.
In January 2020 Bishop Michael McCullough was installed as the Pastor, C. Avernell McCullough became the Overseer, and Elder Ronald Carr became the Assistant Pastor.
Located in Baltimore City, the Community Church Outreach Center began it's mission of preaching to and reaching souls for Christ. It soon became an independent local church of Christian faith in Baltimore, Maryland.
Along with ministering the Word of God, the Community Church Outreach Center also provides free clothing and other basic staples to the community at large.
Among the basic objectives of Community Church Outreach Center are the following:
To Propagate
the gospel of Jesus Christ and to further the cause of the Kingdom of God so that people may be evangelized.
To Teach
the Word of God that believers may be conformed to the image of God.
To Promote
the unity of believers by regularly assembling the congregation for fellowship and involving each member of the congregation in its fellowship and activities.
To Help
each member of the body discover and develop their spiritual gifts and minister to their fullest potential in the power of the Holy Spirit.
To Strengthen
families and aid parents in teaching children biblical and holy standards for healthy living.
To Act
the Word of God that believers may be conformed to the image of God.
To Exert
a positive and redeeming influence on the community and nation by all lawful means including prayer and intercession for those in positions of authority.
To Perform
the ordinances of the church and other such ministries such as weddings, baby dedications, and funerals.
