The Journey
Born in Baltimore, Maryland
Michael McCullough is the fourth child of Jack and Carrie McCullough. He was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He is Bishop of the Community Church Outreach Center, established in September 2002.
God Spared His Life
After passing up the opportunity to receive a full scholarship to play college football, Michael lost focus and grew negative interest in the inner city streets. As a result, he suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was nearly left for dead. God spared his life and in 1996, Michael accepted the calling and gave his life to the Lord with a determination never to look back.
Positive Change
His servitude began as an Elder under the late Apostle James R. Jones of Community Church of Christ, where he began motivating others to seek positive change. In 2002, Apostle Jones appointed Michael as Co-Pastor and nearly four years later, Pastor McCullough was ordained as Bishop.
Desire to Win Lost Souls
Bishop McCullough is an exciting and dynamic member of the clergy. His sermons promote spiritual and social growth, and his desire is to win lost souls to Christ and help those in the body continue in the faith.
Continues to Inspire
He has been a guest preacher at churches throughout Baltimore and its surrounding counties, as well as Goldsboro, NC and West Palm Beach, FL. Bishop McCullough continually inspires audiences of all ages to acknowledge Jesus Christ as their Savior, follow His teachings and serve others.
Not About Religion
His life has not been about “religion,” but about trust and faith in God, his personal relationship with Christ and his devotion to his family. Bishop McCullough currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland with his wife, Monica and their four sons, Michael, Jr., Dominic, Jeremiah and Ahmad.
