The Vision
Born in Greenville, South Carolina
Carrie Avernell McCullough, first child of seven children, was born on 28th of March in the year of our Lord, 1942. She was raised and educated in Greenville, South Carolina. Carrie was joined in holy matrimony to the late Jack McCullough on August 6, 1960. In November of 1973, Carrie received Jesus in her life as Lord and Savior. She served under the leadership and spiritual guidance of Pastor Wilbert Watson of Olivet Baptist Church, working as a missionary. In 1976, she moved her membership to Community Church of Christ, under the leadership of the late Apostle James R. Jones. Sis. McCullough served on the missionary board, the street and prison ministries, taught Sunday School and at the Community Christian Academy.
